Afternoon of exchanges organized by the Institute of Computer Science Claude Chappe (IC2) around gender diversity in computer science at Le Mans University. <\/h2>\n

The goal of this half-day is first to take a look at the current situation within the different computer science components of the university (Computer Science Department, IUT, ENSIM), and to realize the impact of this situation, on students and staff. It will also be an opportunity to address the issue of bias in artificial intelligence systems.<\/p>\n

In a second time, we will be interested in the measures promoting a sustainable diversity in this field and will review the existing measures and those that could be implemented in the department and the region, in order to identify those that work and to see how to go further. On this occasion, we will also have the pleasure of welcoming and listening to Isabelle Collet, Professor at the Education Sciences Section of the University of Geneva, where she heads the G-RIRE team : Genre – Rapports intersectionnels, Relation \u00e9ducative, et author of the book \u00ab Les oubli\u00e9es du num\u00e9rique \u00bb.<\/p>\n
