In this research field, we initially focused on (1) the study of TEL engineering processes, as well as the operationalization and adaptation of pedagogical scenarios oriented Learning Management Systems (LMS). Subsequently, we focused our research on (2) the use of immersive technologies, and in particular Virtual Reality (VR), for learning, with an emphasis on the modelling of immersive pedagogical activities and the production of Virtual Reality Learning Environments (VRLE). Our objective is to support teachers in using educational technologies in their classrooms by providing accessible, context-specific solutions that foster pedagogical innovation. We aim to reach this objective by developing specialized models and tools and encouraging educational innovation through flexible, appropriate, and accessible engineering. The central research problem addressed in this work involves the investigation of mechanisms (processes, models, languages, techniques, methods, and tools) that support and facilitate the design and operationalization of pedagogical scenarios. Our methodology focuses on exploring the challenges inherent in the engineering of TEL and VRLE systems, based on two complementary perspectives: (1) a global vision of the training process, from the identification of pedagogical requirements to the development of models that facilitate the design and implementation of TEL\/VRLE environments; and (2) a generic approach aimed at formulating models that are independent of specific learning domains or contextual constraints.<\/p>\n<p>The first axis focuses on designing and implementing pedagogical activities within Learning Management Systems (LMS). We have developed a methodological framework and tools to assist teachers in designing, adapting, and implementing pedagogical scenarios that are coherent, interoperable, and contextually relevant.<\/p>\n<p>The second axis explores the use of immersive technologies, particularly Virtual Reality (VR), for learning. This involves the design and scenarization of immersive activities, the modelling of virtual pedagogical objects, and the facilitation of collaborative interactions in VR. A key contribution is the proposal of a VR-oriented pedagogical activity model specifically adapted to these environments.
