XAI-Profile: Vers un profilage transparent et exploitable des apprenants sur la plateforme écri+

Résumé : In the context of digital learning environments, understanding learner behaviour and the explainability of generated profiles have become major challenges. XAI-Profile is a framework that uses the power of White-Box XAI techniques to transform learning traces into interpretable and exploitable profiles, as part of the écri+ project (https://ecriplus.fr/).

XAI-Profile relies on machine learning techniques (e.g. Decision Tree, Random Forest, Sequence Mining), interactive visualisations and transparency mechanisms to enable teachers, researchers and educational decision-makers to: (i) identify learner profiles (active, at risk, struggling, progressing); (ii) explore the reasons behind observed behaviours; and (iii) facilitate educational decision-making based on understandable data.

Key-words : Learner profile, goal-oriented requirements, explainable AI, transparency, visual analytics design.

Biography : Abdelkader Ouared is a postdoctoral researcher at Le Mans University in France. He received his Ph.D. in 2019 from the National School of Computer Science (ESI, formerly INI) in Algers, Algeria. His current research interests include data modeling and management, human-computer interaction, and learning analytics.
