Biography

After completing my bachelor’s degree in computer science at the University of Le Mans, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in computer science with a specialisation in artificial intelligence. During the first year of my master’s degree, I had the opportunity to do a research internship at Lium on learning and evaluating an interpretable audio deepfake detection model.

Following this internship, I applied for a work-study programme on the recognition of non-native children’s speech. I am working on the recognition of non-native speech in children in Years 5 and 6. The aim is to assist teachers in their teaching of German and English, particularly with regard to speaking. Learners will be given speaking exercises where their intonation, pronunciation of a few key sounds and, if possible, their sentence construction will be automatically assessed.
