Research Activities:
Biography
As a PhD student at LIFO, I worked with statistical, graph-based and machine learning approaches to answer to answer research questions regarding influence and visibility of users on social networks, especially on Twitter. For instance, I worked on spam detection, influence measurement, event detection, which led me to deal with supervised learning, community detection or social role detection problems.
Then, I worked on the ISTEX project as a post-doc at LORIA, especially on tasks related to mining of scientific publication databases : cluster documents in thematics, label these thematics with keywords, monitor evolution of these thematics across time, etc. I also started important work about clustering quality.
Now, I am assistant professor at LIUM, part of both the LST and EIAH teams, working on several projects related to data mining : textual corpus mining, automatic characterization of learners, opinion mining, social roles detection in networks, etc.
Keywords : Graph mining, complex networks, text mining, clustering, supervised learning
