Biography
Pierre Jacoboni received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Paris 6 (France) in 1993. Since 1994, he is an assistant professor at University du Maine (Le Mans, France) where he works in the LIUM Laboratory on Technology Enhanced Learning. He has participated in many projects to conceive and develop software to assist teachers (PEPITE / LINGOT) and learners (DIADEME / SAAFIR / HOP3X ). His current works are part of the PEDALO project, started with Christophe Despres in 2005. The objective of this project is to provide tools and methods to help teachers and learners to organize their training activities. They designed Hop3x which is a track based practical works environment for learning programming language.
