Biography

Christophe Choquet is University professor in Computer Science since 2009, at the University of Le Mans. He began his career as R&D engineer in an Aerospace company, member of Airbus consortium, and contributed to the implementation of digital training systems for the company, subcontractors and customers. He was Lecturer at the University of Nantes, then Le Mans. He led the LIUM TEL team from 2007 till 2012, then become Vice-president of the University of Le Mans from 2012 till 2015.

His research concerns Computing Aided Learning for science, and more specially the instrumentation of the actors of a learning system and the modelling of pedagogical indicators. In a paradigm where the design continues during the use, he studies the processes of design, adaptation and personalization of learning systems, in order to facilitate the tasks of the systems various actors. He currently coordinates the ANR PASTEL project.
