Biographie

Sébastien IKSAL est Maître de Conférences HDR en informatique à l’Université du Mans (IUT de Laval – Dépt. MMI, laboratoire LIUM) depuis 2003. En 2002, il a obtenu un doctorat de Mathématiques-Informatique au sein du LIASC de Télécom Bretagne sur les thématiques conjointes du Web Adaptatif et du Web Sémantique. Depuis 2003, ses travaux sont dans le champ des Environnements Informatiques pour l’Apprentissage Humain, et plus particulièrement, il travaille sur les Learning Analytics. Il a proposé l’environnement UTL (Usage Tracking Language), un environnement générique de calcul d’indicateurs capitalisables prescrits par les usagers. Ses activités l’ont amené à collaborer à plusieurs projets ANR et il fait partie à ce titre de l’équipe Learning Analytics du Numérilab de la Direction du Numérique pour l’Education (DNE).
