The Technical Gesture Days are the first conference organized by the Technical Gesture Working Group. They will be held in Laval on the afternoon of February 5 and the morning of February 6, 2026. The aim of these days is to bring together researchers working in computer science and digital sciences for the learning and teaching of technical gestures. This also includes actors conducting multidisciplinary research combining digital sciences with educational sciences, cognitive psychology, professional didactics, the sciences and techniques of physical and sports activities, health, etc.
The objective of these days is to explore the contributions of digital technology to technical gesture training. They will promote discussion around the devices, methods, and models that enable us to understand, teach, and evaluate movements in a variety of contexts. The areas of application can be very diverse, ranging from training in professional movements in industry, crafts, or health, to sports movements or rehabilitation, for example.
These days will provide an opportunity to present research related to the topics covered, in the form of oral presentations, posters, or demonstrations. They will also offer the opportunity to attend presentations by two guest speakers.
For more information, to register (free registration) to participate or to present your work, please visit the conference website: https://jgt.sciencesconf.org
We hope to see many of you there!
