Schoolgirls discover IT professions

As part of their internship, 14 students from L’Epine, J. Baker and C. Gavras collèges in Le Mans, J. Cocteau in Coulaines, A. Pioger in Conlie and G. Desnos from La Ferté Bernard will be discovering the different facets of information technology.

Over the course of the week, they will have the opportunity to find out more about training and research in computer science, as well as opportunities in industry.
The programme includes meetings with students and lecturers, visits to the computer science laboratory and Ensim (Ecole nationale d’ingénieurs du Mans) on the academic side, and visits to companies such as Sopra-Steria, infotel, ST Microelectronics, SII and Happy Dev.

Divided into two groups, the schoolgirls will have the opportunity to attend demonstrations, try out the userlab and talk to the various people involved to get a clearer idea of the diversity of careers in IT.
