The TEA-TIME (Teacher’s Technology Integration Models in Education) project aims to develop the digital maturity of teachers for the implementation of certain forms of pedagogy, those based on ACA-AR: Learning Activities integrating APC (competency-based approach), based on regulations supported by AI and Self-Regulation.
To achieve this objective, the project will extend the functionalities of the COMPER framework to experiment with various training devices based on ACA-AR . These devices and the notion of ACA-AR will be modeled and integrated into hybrid training models, and their usefulness for teachers and learners will be studied, along with their acceptance and appropriation factors. Using the COMPER framework, which is based on a skills repository meta-model and two artificial intelligence systems, the project aims to support the integration of digital technology, and in particular AI, into teachers’ practices. Explanations and diagnostics of AI engine settings will be provided, enabling teachers to adapt the COMPER suite to their own objectives.
The project also aims to produce a range of training and self-training resources for teachers on pedagogies based on APC (competency-based approach), self-regulation and AI. These resources will be organized by theme and level of complexity, according to a model of Technology Integration in Education (TIME) that will be developed as part of the project. By enabling teachers to understand ACA-AR and implement it with their students, the project aims to foster the development of teachers’ skills according to the principles of “learning by teaching”.
