Overlapping speech and gender, a study of annotations for audiovisual media.

Our aim is to characterize gender representations in French media through interactions between speakers according to their role. This paper proposes a study of gender and overlapping speech annotations in several corpora dedicated to speaker segmentation and transcription, and highlights the problem of heterogeneity of annotation protocols for these two categories. In addition, we analyse the influence of the broadcast format on the distribution of overlappedd speech segments. On a sub-corpus of 93 recordings from the LCP channel, we seek to characterize the interactions between speakers according to their gender.
