Researchers from LIUM participates to the JHU Summer School on Human Language Technology et au JSALT workshop

 

from June 13 to August 5

 

In the framework of the ESPERANTO project, Thibault Gaudier, Valentin Pelloin, Thomas Thébaud and Anthony Larcher are participating with 9 other project members in the two-week summer school of the Center for Language and Speech Processing at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

They will be joined by Antoine Laurent, as well as 20 other researchers who are also participating in the Jsalt workshop, which runs from 27 June to 5 August. For the occasion, the ESPERANTO project consortium has formed a team working on multilingual speech-to-speech translation for under-endowed languages.

Next year, this workshop will be organized by LIUM and held in Le Mans.
