viso-temporal ARIA Spatio-Temporal ARIA (Integrating Spatio-Temporal Reasoning into Augmented Reality Headsets Using AI) is an international project aimed at enhancing the intelligence of augmented reality (AR) systems. By incorporating advanced spatio-temporal reasoning capabilities powered by artificial intelligence, the project seeks to enable AR headsets to better understand and adapt to dynamic environment. This innovation aims at improving decision-making support in various domains, including education, healthcare and industrial maintenance.
At the core of this research is the integration of AI-driven models capable of analyzing spatial and temporal data in real-time. These models will allow AR systems to recognize changes in the environment, predict future states, and provide contextual assistance to users.

This initiative brings together leading researchers, engineers, and industry partners from France and Canada, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Human-Computer Interactions (HCI) and Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL). The project not only advances the theoretical foundations of spatio-temporal reasoning but also translates these advancements into practical AR applications. Ultimately, this research paves the way for the next generation of intelligent AR systems that can seamlessly interact with the real world and empower users with real-time, context-aware insights.
